  1. Finally found out why one of my SS6s was rattling like a baby toy.

The internal lens standoffs let go, and the screws were both loose, letting the whole lens vibrate. Superglued the floater, and glued the other cracked one. Holding the floater in place. prior to gluing. Cracks in the non-floating standoff. Have you seen any returns with this particular...
  2. Cargo light turning on by itself.

Recently installed the cargo light and have had it turn itself on twice now. Once in -20F weather, and again yesterday at 10F. This is a problem, as when closed, it's aimed directly at the driver and rear view mirror. Is there another switch besides touch that would fit in the unit?
  3. Washer fluid empty warning, when not empty?

Anyone else getting this? I had the warning pop up this week, dumped in a tad less than half a gallon of Rain-X I had laying around, and it's still coming on.
  4. Alaska Boost Auto Wireless Charger - NIB $120 + Ship

Bought one, decided I wanted the utility of the cubby more than I wanted wireless charging. $120 + shipping USPS flat rate.
  5. Alaska Sold: LOD Bumper Reinforcement Brackets NIB - $70 + shipping

Bought a set of the LOD brackets, turns out the Brave Offroad bumper design comes with frame reinforcement brackets, so I didn't end up using them. Prefer to sell local, since no one ships these to AK, and LOD was absolutely no help when I called and emailed, but either way, want them out of...
  6. Locker release time?

I engaged the rear locker for the first time on some snow/ice near the house to see how they operate. The locker stayed engaged after powering off the switch, even with backing up a short distance of ~10ft. Are these lockers "sticky" ie, need a good distance in reverse to disengage?
  7. Anyone ID this aftermarket grille?

Found this in a Quadratec video on their most divisively interesting project ever, the Y-JL, installing the square headlights and angular flares of the YJ, which is fine, installing a 4.7L stroker inline six, which is awesome, and then installing a YJ interior, which is monumentally stupid...
  8. 139.5 mile F250 Lariat barn find. Lowest mile 1970s F250 in the world!

Absolutely incredible! That cream and brown with the dark brown interior is just mint.
  9. Capable Bumper LED conversion.

Those of you with the MY22 "Capable" bumper have there been any manufacturers posting about LED kit development? All my searches show up the triple light kits for the modular bumper. Looking for something in the vein of @Baja Designs fog pocket kit, like this version on a Ranger.
  10. Adding, modifying or otherwise changing factory/OEM options, an intro.

So I know a number of potential and/or future Bronco owners are caught between the broad lines of Ford's value engineering. Some want heated seats, but not the rest of the Mid package, or a heated steering wheel, but not Lux. I hope this thread can be a centralized area for discussing how to add...
  11. What did you buy for your Bronco today? 🤑🛍️🛒

Today and the next week or so would be a good time to pick up some things such as lighting, winch and recovery gear, or overland supplies for your Bronco! For me, it was a pair of Baja Designs S2 Pros, likely going to be flush mount backup lights or ditch lights for mine. Still saving for a...
  12. Distilling info

So, to summarize and collate a bit: First, of the models, pick Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, Badlands, WildTrak, Or First Edition. Then look for features you absolutely want. They may or may not be available in your given model (especially if you wanted a 2.7/7spd  ) If you want 35s...
