This is the prettiest Bronco mod I’ve seen yet. The graffiti in the door sills makes me jealous that I could never think of something so unique. Great idea, but even better execution. Everything about this looks awesome.

Remove them, but not the whole thing, just the two clips closest to the doors is enough. It’s a turn of the knob and takes probably 10 seconds.

No, you just have to be really careful placing the bolts in with your fingers through the larger holes in the frame. It fits VERY right against the tow package, but it does fit.

Installed the American Thunder tonight on a 2.7l. It sounds lower in person than it does in any of the videos. Also, not so annoying that it would bother the neighbors. Overall, I think it sounds great.

Powder coated black. First mod I did. Way better than the original.

Just wanted to let you know that I found a local place that just does powder coating and they quoted me $50 for each ring ($250 total). They sand and then put two coats on it. He says they do off-road rims all of the time and gloss is the best option.

There was a guy on here who walked through his step by step process of scrubbing them and then used Behr Spray paint and it looked good. I’m going to do what he did and, if I mess it up, buy the black ones from Ford...

I’m not a huge fan, but it’s not as bad as I thought it would be. The beadlocks are the bigger issue for me. Those are getting painted black asap.
