So basically for $.50 a gallon I gain 1mpg. Then I waste that with the extra power flexing all over the road. So 87 is a better choice.
I just completed the Kicker Sub/Key500.1 amp install. First , sounds 500% better, with real bass punch. I love it.
Key learnings.
1. I had to grind away the edge of the plastic ring at 3 spots on the new sub to make it properly fit the OEM encloser.

Yep , I just got mine replaced and I also got the drip rail. I agree the new version sits straighter and looks better. Note, they only replace the fabric, no new windows. My dealer gave me a rental , and it ended up taking them 3 days.
I am sure tow ratings are very conservative knowing most people don't understand what tow capacity really is. I bet the true number is more like 5k, especially if you are not towing through mountains. The point is, you can probably safely tow over 3500 , but try to use that as a target...
22 BL, LUX w/B&O. I would say it lacks punch, at normal levels is just fine. Louder the first thing I notice is the sub cant keep up and distorts. I would say over all , the system does not have enough amp / power to do the job. That said, I mainly go the LUX for the adaptive CC...

We generally run 2 places in PA... AOAA and Rausch Creek. Rausch isnt even represented and AOAA has dozens of trails, but the app only show 3 loops. I certainly hope its a work in progress.
Most clear coats harden. Since the flairs are flexible, its likely that they will get stress cracks over time. Looks good, and if done right should last a while.
The exception are CJs. Since they could be purchased from the factory without doors. You can fight any door ticket and win. I have heard of a few PA folks getting tickets by small township police. Pretty much a dick move.
