It’s a steel bumper with plastic components on it. It’s not a completely steel bumper. The modular bumper is completely steel.

The wife hit a deer this morning. It rotated the passenger side of the bumper slightly, but I think the frame is fine. Looking to buy a capable bumper with the sensor holes. Located near Harrisonburg, VA. Thanks!

I think we lucked out this morning. The wife hit not one, but two deer at the same time. From what I can tell, the only damage occurred to the plastic tow hook covering on the passenger side. Appears the cable bumper did its job. Does anyone know the part number for this? Looking at it, it seems...

Did you ever get an answer on this? Mine is doing the same when manually downshifting the 2.7 auto it will act like it’s going to accelerate and then begin to gear down.

Went to put the soft top down and noticed a huge gash in the roll bar from where Ford installed it. Paying this much for a vehicle it should have a gash like that. Is there anything I can do? I didn’t notice it when I bought the vehicle cuz I couldn’t see it as it’s on the outside of the roll bar.

Just as @Faust said, the experience was as described. Joe and Jeremy were amazing! Very easy buying process. It was a bonus that both the private offer and order modification rebates came off the top! The wife and myself are very happy campers tonight!
