I have the same bumper. Did you attach the Tow Bar to the shackle tabs on the JCR bumper? Do you have pics?

Thanks. I made this change, moving from using the GTO setting on the AudioControl equipment to using the ACC power from the fuse box to Remote In and that fixed my turn-off pop issue.

Sorry to jump in on this thread, but I am installing a very similar setup, and I am getting the turn-off pop using AudioControl's auto-turn on feature (GTO). What did you use for the remote turn-on? Did you just run a wire from the fuse box, or something else?

Damn, you were loaded down. Good to hear it is holding up. I am planning on using it for my platform, so we will see how it holds up to two Siberian Huskies.

I was thinking it could be a good location to mount stereo amps.

I also live in S. Colorado. Although I love having the softtop down on the trail. I wouldn’t hit the trail without the top. This time of year, as Durangatan metioned, we get afternoon storms especially at higher elevations. I wouldn’t trust weather reports.
