It's been a cold and windy January. Short trips on a cold engine and the aerodynamics of a refrigerator are a bad combo. I'm usually up around 18 in the summer.
2022 Wildtrak - so 2.7 and sasquatch. I averaged 15.4 over my last 3000 miles with mixed driving, mostly city. 90% of that is normal mode. Stock Goodyears - set at 40 psi. I do watch my tire pressure pretty closely FWIW.
I have toggled on the WiFi setting on my bronco at least a dozen times. Never stays set at ON and I gave up trying. I eventually get the updates though.
you can either cut the hoops off or order the brackets that come with when the modular bumper is ordered from the factory. Those part nos. are MB3Z6G079A and MB3Z6G079B. Personally, I went with the latter. They're easy to swap out and I kept the originals in case there's ever a reason I need to...
I stayed in downtown Austin and drove out to the ranch the morning of the Off Roadeo. It took me a little under an hour, but it was an easy drive. Similar coming back after everything was done. I didn't know what I would do for the rest of the night in Horseshoe Bay so I was glad that I...
Which skid? The plastic skid plate that comes with the plastic bumper doesn't really fit after the swap. Others have tried to make it work, but I didn't want to cut it up or modify it so I could put it back on if I ever traded in my Bronco and went back to the plastic bumper. I got the steel...

Similar story here. I got them mainly to stop the factory Goodyears that come with the sasquatch package from throwing rocks across my doors. They are effective for that. Note: I also have factory running boards on as well.
As for mud, snow, I find they definitely cut down the amount that...
ok, where the harness in the bumper connects back to the plug just underneath the driver's side headlight, that plug underneath the headlight is held there by a plastic anchor. Pop that plug out of the anchor point and that gives you just enough length to get the harness connected. The plug is...
Thanks much, I was able to get a bit more slack out of the harness after taking the bumper back off. I pulled the connector from the plastic pin holding it in place just above the bumper and that gave me enough slack to get everything connected. Much appreciated to everyone that chimed in with...
Yep, that's the one. I'm afraid I'm going to have to take the bumper all the way off and try and find a bit more length. There's no way I can get it connected at the moment.
How did you get the harness for the parking sensors plugged back in? For the life of me, I can't get the sensor/fog light harness to plug back into the connector behind the fender/grill.
Did anyone else have trouble getting the harness for the parking sensors reconnected to the harness in the front driverside corner behind the grill? I'm having a heck of a time using the one that was on my standard bumper.
The recovery points/hoops that come with the standard plastic bumper are welded to the support bracket that also holds up the intercooler. You either have to remove the hoops or replace with brackets with those that Ford uses with Broncos that have the MOD bumper from the factory. Part nos...
Keep an eye on Heller Ford down in El Paso, IL. They had a bunch of modular takeoffs on Ebay a few months ago. They were willing to ship, but I don't know the cost. I was able to drive down and buy one from them. I believe they get some of the takeoffs from Maxlider Bros. in Bloomington.
