This was one of the big reasons I went with an Anderson top. Their constant attack on everybody else's tops instead of just standing on their own merits... Well, everybody else's tops exist, lol.
The website says 16.6-35.3 amps @ 12v.
Not sure how they get that big of a range, unless there are switchable modes? Very little info about this light bar.
The mount alone seems a little pricey, but the mount plus the light bar seems like a great deal. I like the bars protecting the light bar...
Are you talking about the 2 studs on the bottom of the shock?
I placed a large socket over the head of the stud, then put it in a vise and cranked it down.
I put a K&N Filter in my Nissan Frontier a while back. I was in AZ at the time, lots of dust. I didn't notice any gains, but not long after I noticed quite a bit of loss in MPG and Power. I wont ever put a K&N filter in anything again.
They are probably good for track cars that don't deal with...
My 2017 F150 XLT Sport, and my 2016 Yamaha YXZ.
I did miss them both a lot while waiting for my bronco, but now that I have it, I don't miss them at all. Love this thing!
This is how I got them out, just so you know. Put a large shallow socket over the head of the stud, then clamped in a vise. Had to hit the handle of the vise with a hammer (a cheater might work as well), it wasn't too bad. Could probably do the same to install them.
I threw out my old shocks at my brother's last weekend, I'm headed over there today, if the shocks are still in the scrap bin I can try and hammer out a couple studs for you real quick.
If you want to toss me $5 to cover shipping.
Let me know. No promises, but I'll give it a shot. If I can...
Those look like they were cut! Pretty BS for the seller to do that and not tell you.
If you do hammer out the studs, they are MUCH easier to install with bolts. (I just installed Bilstein 6100s and they come with bolts instead of studs)
Are these Sasquatch shocks? Do they have the springs on...
That's true, they very well could have, but I doubt it since they've expressed many times that they are a small company without tons of resources.
Not to mention they released/announced their hard top before Anderson, so their design process had to be mostly done before Andersons even was...
Edit: I'm not bashing the ADV hardtop. I think it's a very good hardtop. I just don't like them being dodgy and not forthcoming about their comparisons.
They won't tell you. They are kind of shady about dogging on others, and I don't like it.
The last video I watched where they compared their...
