Apparently they're attached to animal fur, which my dog has already left behind. Moth balls have been in there less than 3 hours and the adults are already freaking out. Roughly a dozen circling in there now when before they were hidden. Hopefully the eggs die too and I'll be back to normal.
UPDATE: I purchased three bags of Enoz mothballs (75 cu. ft. coverage) and placed one on the dash and two under the front seats. I'm going to leave them in there for a week and hopefully it totally eradicates the moths and eggs.
Left my doors off overnight here in Atlanta and had a dozen moths flying out of dashboard next day. I've since put the doors back on, but there are still some adult moths flying around. My fear is that their eggs are going to hatch any day now and wreak havoc on my seats or inner dashboard...
