Whether the slider themselves or the body mounts are bending, thats a big issue. I have not seen pictures or video showing which is the culprit. NVM's frame mounted Jeep sliders have proven to be about bomb proof, so I'm a little stumped on why they chose to go with tieing into the factory...

Went with these guys https://ai13.us/collections for a RotoPax spout and its worth every penny. They have a few options, not sure if they have something that would work with a true jerry can though since i've never used one.
