If my dealer, like most dealers, wants to sell me profitable aftermarket items, I will gladly buy with customer satisfaction cash. We both benefit. If no customer cash, no aftermarket purchase!
This is the most accurate post I have seen. My Bronco was built July 20th. I have had a vin for months now. I received an email in September that it should arrive in October. As you stated, I'll believe it when I see it. Very, very, very, disappointed with Ford.
Ford finally confirmed that my Bronco was built on July 20th. It is still waiting for a replacement top. No one will give me any idea of when to expect delivery.
Going to look at Wranglers tomorrow. Mostly just pissed at Ford. The other thing is I have had several Wranglers in the past with no real issues. This is turning into a real nightmare and makes me wonder if it is just the beginning of more problems to come.
I feel for you, but Ford could care less. I called to complain knowing it would do no good. Basically told that's just the way it is. I sold my only vehicle once mine had gone into production. I have been borrowing a friends car. I will have to buy something to get me buy until it comes. So...
Really lol, I think Ford already knows where to ship them and I think they have facilities and personal to perform the swap. They are referred to as Ford Dealers
Very well written, however the final customer should be the primary concern and not the last concern. If the defective top is the fault of Webasto then they not Ford should be footing the bill. As stated previously, recalls are always expensive and are paid for by the responsible person.
My Bronco is built and sitting in "dirt mountain" along with thousands of others. The solution is so simple, it is amazing that Ford hasn't thought of it. All that needs to be done is to ship the vehicles immediately. If the customer wants to take delivery let them. Have the company that made...
Could not disagree more. New vehicles are a depreciating asset. They get less valuable every day. Ford needs to ship the vehicles now and ship the tops when available. Let's see them do the right thing instead of the easy thing. If they had tested the tops to begin with they wouldn't have this...
