Nope, don’t the VIN or build date yet. We really don’t care about the $100 at this point, that’s long been spent, but the fact the dealer will get the car and sell it at a major markup, instead of it going to the next person in line who went through the legitimate process, just grinds my gears.

I like the way you think, definitely seems like I have definitely already considered this approach. Wouldn’t even want to take advantage of the private seller, would just want the dealer to not make the profit themselves.

Our thoughts exactly. Collect the $100 from Ford and then, when we don’t come to pick up the car, stick it on the lot for $10k over MSRP. Won’t take them to court, but maybe I’ll get my dad free oil changes for life on the F250 he bought from them last year 🤣

On the reservation FAQ, it says that once your reservation is converted to an order, canceling is at the dealers discretion. Obviously I don’t hold high hopes for getting anywhere with the dealer regarding that.
