So it would void the powertrain aspect of the warranty? That is a bummer considering that Ford sells the tune. Does this mean it is not strictly a warranty, but rather a "service plan" that the Magnussen-Moss Warranty Act does not apply to?
DO NOT RUN ONE OF THESE. If the mesh holding the tiny activated carbon balls in place breaks, they will fall into the abyss of your HVAC system and make a metal on metal rolling around sound. Dealer quoting $2,150 to take apart the dash and fish them out. Really bummed.
I recorded a video with the sound. It comes from below on the passenger side. Any idea as to what it could be? I just had an oil change today so it's suspicious timing, though I also had a car wash at another place. I made another service appointment but they didn't have time until Monday.
Hey @Bestop_Team did you end your 30 day promise? I called in to take up the company on it as my Sunrider is very loud, but I received a lot of resistance from the person on the phone and they made it sound like they were making an exception for me to be able to use it.
Yeah, this is a bummer that there aren't too many options for true winters from reputable brands in this size. I had a similar situation on another vehicle which also has 35" tires. I ended up buying 20" wheels and Blizzaks in size 275/65r20. This was before I knew about Nokian.
Were you able to find Nokian Hakkapellitta non-studded tires in that size? I've been looking online for months and was never able to find them. I ended up finding a used set.
My Bronco lives near a ski resort so it's worth it for me since we get >150 inches of snow per year. It's certainly...
I have run 4H all the time in the winter for highway driving. For all the people saying it causes issues, can anyone point to an example where leaving it on when the road is slippery (no dry pavement) has caused damage?
