I have a 4 door, and want to lift the top using the half rack itself. Does anyone else do this? short rack / half rack / hoist / lift / winch

Thanks for confirming how yours works. I’ve been considering that brand for a long time. Just seems expensive for what it is. I was hoping a basic winch would work just as well, if the rack was strong.

Is the 4 door half rack secure enough to hoist the entire clamshell? (Connect straps to half rack and lift)
