Oh yeah. There's tons of places for them to get by that plastic windshield cowl. I wanted to put screen over the actual intake of the HVAC (which I did on my Ranger) but the access to it on the Bronco is terrible.

Good luck. I pulled the wipers and cowl and tried to make screening to cover the HVAC intakes. Unfortunately the holes are such an odd shape and are so hidden under the firewall sheet metal that access is super limited. I finally gave up.

I really don't think I've fixed it yet. It hasn't been out in the rain much. I really think it's coming from the triangle rubber piece at the front of the door glass. If I wipe the inside plastic with a wet cloth I can see water marks where rain has been running down from that area.

I'm not sure if this is an issue yet but, I live out in the country and have lots of mice. They find their way into everything. Has anyone been able to verify whether or not a mouse can just walk into the HVAC intakes, which I assume are under the windshield cowl? I know my Ranger had huge holes...

I'm assuming it's the HVAC condensation but it's dripping onto the exhaust. Does anyone else have that issue? I notice it when I pull it into the garage, I can hear it sizzling off the exhaust.

How did everyone in this build week make out with getting their price protection? I wound up getting so many discounts, some I wasn't even expecting, and it dropped the price over $10k under MSRP. I was shocked!

I've got the same deal as you. AB transmission and on a couple cold mornings in the upper 30's I could hear the noise slightly. It would go away when I pushed the clutch in or held the shifter against the 6th syncro.

My 4/18 build has the AB transmission in it. So far it only has 1400 miles on it but we had a couple mornings in the mid to upper 30's and there's a definite grumble when idling in neutral that goes away if I push the shifter against the 6th syncro.

Thank you very much! I'll have to slide the seat forward for the ride home. I guess the extra $.50 it might have cost Ford to run that plastic full length would have put them out of business.

Any updates on this? My 2 week old Badlands has an annoying rattle from the passenger seat but it doesn't do it when someone is sitting in that seat.

At the top it'll say Advanced 4x4. It's basically a different body code rather than an actual listed option.

I appreciate everyone's responses. I guess it'll be worth popping those panels off and checking. I really hadn't wanted to mess with them in fear of me actually causing a leak by disturbing the factory placement. I guess I'll pull them and take a look.

Those drips where my finger is, is actually under the door. I don't think a leaking top could get water there. I'll have to sit in there while the wife sprays it with a garden hose.

Hello all. I've had my 23 BL 2 door for 4 days now and have found a water leak. It rained pretty good last night and this morning I opened the passenger door and saw water sitting on the sill, and the carpet floor mat was wet. Had anyone seen this before? That is where the water was sitting.

That used to be a more common thing at the beginning of production but now it's a pretty rare occasion to get one.
