You can't. Mustangs are the same way. Has something to do with the windows being frameless. It's obvious the engineers and designers are from up North because for me rolling them up with the fob is MUCH more important than rolling them down.
Thanks @mikey_photo & @Copperhorse73 for the safari pics. That's how I ran my Jeep TJ almost all the time. Even in the "winter". Just rolled the front windows up and turned the heater on. And even when it rained I stayed dry.
I'd love to see pics of the top down on a 2 door.
Forgive my lack of seamingly common knowledge, but when is MY23 production supposed to start? Sounds like some guys are willing to wait a long time for their Bronco. (not that I blame them)
Thanks, guys. I was just exited about seeing a soft top on a 2 door. Really didn't want to have to get a hard top when the time comes and there's no way I would get a 4-door.
Natural gas? Really? (I haven't been keeping up with the forum)
What do you mean by rattle can? Spray painted?
As for the reflection in the back window, I don't see anything, but here are some screen shots from my phone. They seem to be a slightly better resolution.
A friend of mine knows a Ford engineer in Arizona and he currently has a 2 door with a soft top from Ford. He says they're testing it and will possibly be available later. I'll try to get the pic he sent and post it here.
Not everyone likes the looks of the jeep. Both the JK & the JL are ugly as hell and WAY, WAY, WAY too big. I'd love to have another jeep, (Wrangler, of course) but I won't even consider one until they go back to a reasonable size. If they're trying to appeal to the soccer moms that want more...
