That’s pretty much what Ford said…the 3.0 will definitely be detuned a bit, but I suspect the hp will range from 370-385. That shouldn’t be too noticeable considering the Filson will weigh approximately 1,000 lbs less than the Braptor.

Recently a Ford “insider” said that’s exactly what Ford is doing - the options starting in ‘28 will be the 2.3 and the 3.0.

They’re projected to lose $5 billion between 22-23 on all this EV bs (not at all trying to be political). They seem to be going down the wrong road, especially considering the Bronco launch. I know that wasn’t entirely their fault but they didn’t do a good job pulling themselves outta that.

I’m not at all trying to be jerk but this is the type of shit that led to me canceling my order in Aug and ordering a Jeep 392, which should be delivered by the end of Nov. I was a Ford convert too; currently driving my second Raptor. This is all very sad. Good luck to all of you.

I struggled with my color selection…didn’t think the options were that great. I almost went with Sarge Green but ended up choosing Sting-Gray. I’m not sure how that will look with the bronze accents. Snazzberry - you’re brave! I placed my order last Thursday and got my VIN yesterday.

Bingo! My dealer here in NV put me on the Braptor wait list as well. I’ve purchased two Raptors from them, and while that doesn’t make me a preferred customer it was enough to get me on the list. They’re a straight shooter dealer, no bs, friendly and I trust them.

Interesting feedback… I’m currently in a 20 Raptor and the B&O sound system is total crap. I spent around $2,500 upgrading it and now it’s livable…barely. I don’t understand why Ford puts total garbage sound systems in their vehicles. Your post confirms what I’ve been worried about all along...

Nice ride! I almost pulled the trigger on a 392 myself. I’ve owned many Jeeps and a handful of Fords and there are pros & cons of each. Personally, I don’t know why people on these boards act like complete asses, but who cares?!? Enjoy your new ride!
