I have both lockers, but only oem Badlands skids. No other skids or guards under it. A 6-7 ranking maybe more than my setup can handle without breaking or bending something underneath.

Thanks for your info. How difficult is your planned run? I have a 4 door sasquatch with a 2" lift on 35"KO3's. I'm not worried about trail dings, but don't want crazy unavoidable damage. Do you think my setup is up to the trail ? I know it will just be an opinion ,just a suggestion.

Seems the one hinge at a time method ( with tailgate support) is the way to go.

I think it is sheet metal with a plastic cover I didn't put a magnet on it , but it seemed metal .

I'll be going thru Colorado on my way to Vegas the 2nd. week of October. Is that getting too late in the year for the loop and other trails near your travels ?
