I just went through the same. Went and had the battery tested, and it was good, but did need to be charged. Bought a charger and hooked it up overnight and the problem as been gone for a few days. I'm at the same age and with a short daily commute I was draining it faster than it was recharging.

Just as a heads up. Uwharrie OHV trails close for the season on December 15th at 8am. Not open again until April. So time is running out soon. I'd definitely be up for another trip before the season ends.
