Humorously, while pulled over on the road taking pictures, a security guard (driving a beat up old Chevy) tried to tell us we couldn’t take pictures of the vehicles. Uh, sorry, I’m on a public road, I can take pictures if I want. Put up an opaque fence if you want to hide them.

Wife ordered a 2022 Bronco the other day, and for fun we decided to swing over to Dirt Mountain and see how the lot was looking. A steady stream of Bonco‘s was seen leaving the area. Lot looked way empty compared to the last time we saw it - in fact, I think there may be more Rangers innit now...

Ford has another storage lot for Michigan Assembly Plant on Belleville Road just south of Michigan Avenue. In this satellite photo it’s full of Rangers, but when I drove by it the other day it was full of Broncos..

Also one has running boards, other doesn’t.

I ruled out that color mainly because my Mustang is sporting the orange/black theme.

it is the same neighbor, and exactly - we pestered him while he was in the middle of another project, hate to do so again.

we’re both retired from Ford. As she put it, “I know Cactus Grey, and that was Oxford White.”

My wife, who took the photos, says this was absolutely WHITE. I don’t know who changed my thread title, which originally stated white, but it wasn’t me.

Carbonized Gray, or Iconic Silver, not sure. In the driveway of a guy in my sub that works on new model stuff at Ford.

I thought it was beautiful. Made me more excited. The wife was ambivalent before she saw it in person, and seems much more excited about it now.

remember, pre-production vehicle, so it may not represent what Ford plans to actually deliver. When I do B&P, the Wildtrak has painted door handles...

I agree it’d be nice if the grab handle accents matched the exterior color. Maybe they will on the production vehicles. Otherwise I’ll likely take some vinyl wrap and change the grab handle stripes myself.

Just updated the original post with more pictures, as my wife saw it was back for a short bit this morning. Couldn’t get inside it today, but she got as many pics as she could. I tried adjusting the contrast on the second hood graphic picture to show it better.

i purposefully avoided using the step rail, and it was a bit difficult to get into - using the grab handles of course helped. That somewhat sold me on getting some steps, either factory or waiting for aftermarket. Note - although 6’ tall, I have rather short legs and a long torso.
