I canceled mine. Ultimately, I feel like I'm risking put a lot of money out on a product that doesn't seem fully baked at a premium price (especially in CDN). I don't blame Ford for capitalizing on the excitement they've created but I just can't get past the feeling that if I wait, I can:

I'm very taken aback by Fords punitive view of the Canadian market. Far more than FX which is what I expected. To put in perspective, a 2 door badlands would be more than my fully loaded Jeep GC Trailhawk. I know they're very different vehicles but gives some perspective.
I was 110% in but...
I think the Bronco launching with the Cdn $$$ at a low and so much FX risk for Ford is killing us. Genuinely questioning proceeding. I have an absolutely loaded Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk now and a 2.3l Bronco Badlands 2 door would be about $10k more. Hard to justify.
It's funny, I'm in Alberta and there are kids up North zinging around in clapped out Sunfire's on roads that give me heart palpitations. We can overthink these things.
I run Mtn Snowflake rated tires year round. I am mostly in the city but have never needed anything more in the field. I've done Duratracs, Wildpeaks and currently the newest Cooper Discovery ATW. The Coopers are noticeably easier on gas but less aggressive but that hasn't been a problem. I'm...
I gotcha, I am just surprised by people on here saying they'll be pulling them off immediately when we don't know anything about them. I live in Alberta and work in the oilfields and Duratracs have to be one of the most popular tires in very demanding conditions. Agree with you that calling them...
In pretty demanding service (Alberta Oil Field site visits on pipeline jobs) I've run Duratracs, Wildpeaks, and right now the latest Cooper Discoverer AT. All Mtn Snowflake certified. Wildpeaks felt most planted but the Coopers have noticeable benefit in MPF on highway and I haven't found them...
I'm not sure about that. The GYs look like they're going to be similar to the Duratrac. IIRC GY is calling them a max or multi-terrain not mud. If they are like the Duratrac and get the Mountain Snowflake certification they will be pretty good. I am in Alberta and in the oil patch here Duratracs...
Please do. I thought because there was no way to assure the transmission was in neutral for remote start. I'll be happy if the electronics allow me to run it with doors locked and no one in it.
I really want a manual transmission but I worry I'll regret losing remote start on -30 mornings here in Calgary. I love my remote start right now but really want my Bronco to be exactly as I want it, BADMANSQUATCH if all works out.
My Jeep GC Trailhawk is on 31s and it has been very surprising. It wasn't by choice but I used it to pull out a friend in a Wrangler on 35s who'd gotten stuck. I drove all the terrain he had and pulled him out and made it back. The only problem is that the approach and departure angles suck.
