21 Badlands with 72k on it.
Had the front diff grenade on me at 61K and Ford replaced it. Ambient temp sensor went out around 1.5K. Now it looks like I've got a wiring harness that is bad for the blind spot sensor. Love it overall.
Did confirm with the dealer who has it in that it was not low on fluid. Still is odd to me the dealer I bought it from in the mtns said to use 4A and the one out on the plains said not to.
Seeing the issues with the pinion at 30k have paid attention to look for leaks. Ford ended up covering the repairs but still think its not right to go out like that.
My front diff on my 21 badlands delivered Jan 22 with 65K on it grenaded going down the highway. Service group said it was probably related to using 4A so much. I drive on snowy roads everyday for 7-8 months a year. Anyone else heard of similar experiences?
Got the marine grade vinyl with seat heaters since I need that 8-9 months a year but was driving in 75 degrees and had complete swap ass... Anyone have suggestions for cooling seat covers? I have Recaro seats in my 71 that were done with marine grade vinyl and don't have the heat issues without...
Got mine through Summit Ford with no issues but was a first day reservation. JR was my main contact till they sold and now he's at Glenwood. I'd go there if I had to go through the whole process.
Definitely a magnet for chips. Hood deflector seems to help.
Can't stand all the warnings about front detector being blocked every time I drive in snow and it ices over.
