Calico is an old mining town near Barstow, It is about 2 hours north-east of Los Angeles. If you live in the LA area this is a great option for many trails. The end of the Mojave road is only about 20 miles east of Calico and there are lots of other trails on Bureau of Land Management area...
I did Last Chance Canyon about 5 years ago and it has gotten much more difficult. Back 5 years ago I was in a truck with no lockers and 32" tires, it rubbed on a few rocks. Now even with 35's I was hitting the skids a lot. But a super fun trail. Interesting area.
Lots of old...
An hour and a half north of LA in the redrock canyon area are a bunch of off road trails. I am slowly working my way through them. I just did McIver's Jeep Road and some other trails going to and returning from this trail.

It was a Moderate difficulty trail mostly because it gets very steep. 30%

I am in the date range. I don't know if all engines (4 or 6 cyclender) have this problem.
Has any one had an EGR...
With Ford having 3 other pickups the key to making a Bronco pickup that would have done well would have been to made it different.
The ranger is the Pickup most like it. But the ranger has a tiny back seat that is more aimed at cargo than people. Unless the front passengers are really short...
Rancheria Road is mostly a dirt road but I also drove Black Gulch Jeep Trail which does have some challenge to it. Great Views from the ridge line, you can also drive right up to the Kern river. Also some old mines in the area to look out for.
Beautiful Area.
Fun little day trip.
So there is this place in Canada making a clear panel that replaces the front to panels over the driver and passenger.

Has any one tried this? I am guessing it is harder to take on and off.
There is also the Putco Element Sky...
Great trails. We had both trails to ourselves, both can be done in an unmodified Bronco. If you are in the Big Bear area I suggest to see both trails. Easy drive from most of SoCal.
I mostly made this post to encourage more people to go to the Bronco off Roadeo. I went and really enjoyed it.
Weather you have never gone off roading or you have, you will enjoy this. If in fact you never have never gone off roading the Bronco off Roadeo would be a perfect start.
I did the...
The changes to the 2025 2.3 4 cylinder are not just duel fuel injection a higher up alternator and an aluminum valve cover. You will need a different oil filter compared to 2021-2024 broncos.
FL-2127 is the new filter.
I found this out only after taking out the old filter. I looked it up...
From a 1973 Bronco, the rear seat was a $94 option. The v8 was $124. I guess MPG was not a thing on window stickers at the time. But a second gas tank was a $37.90 option. Such a different world.

In my current trail vehicle I use a tablet for offline navigation.
Alpinequest off-road explorer lets me save maps and gpx tracks for use where there is no cell signal. Sky view, road maps, usgs topographical maps, forest service topo maps. I can also record my gps track and points of interest...

What all does the Sasquatch package change?
It has a lift, it has bigger tires, it has stronger suspension components, different A arms, better shocks. A bigger stronger front differential. And lockers front and rear. Better skid plates.
Are the brakes different too? Bigger calipers or discs...
Where do you think would be a good place to mount a hi-lift jack?
Jeeps use the windshield fold down points on the hood to mount a hi-lift. Would this work on a Bronco or would somewhere else be better?
