You coast down hills? As in, put it in neutral? If so, thatâs worse for MPG and your brakes.
If youâre shifting out of 2nd and 3rd around 2k, youâre lugging the shit out of it in the next gear. Higher RPM is safer and more efficient than lower RPM and more load/boost.
Sounds like they just tried to zip it off with an impact and when it got stuck towards the end they uggaduggaâd it off anyway, rather than cleaning up the threads. Not fordâs fault.

I run a lithium-ion in another car and it works well but is not daily driven. I wouldnât use one in a daily driver.
During my purchase process, the GM of my dealer was saying how cool it was to get the first 7mt at their dealer. He told me he was moving it around the lot and was starting off in second gear, just cause. Thatâs the GM. The âsmartâ one. I asked if I could get that in writing.
