  1. Rear Window Explodes, No Clue Why?????

I have no way to prove this, but I thought I would add we are on our 2nd rear window replacement due to rear-defrost burning up the sides where the wires connect. My service department originally said they had already done a few this year when I called about our first. This second time my wife...
  2. Rear Window Defrost Burnup - Any fixes?

Yeah I might just keep showing up to the dealer lol here's one I found online, pretty much the same thing. It doesn't appear to hinder functionality I don't think (never really tested it), just looks bad and doesn't sit well as a "deal with it" issue so it's a little frustrating.
  3. Rear Window Defrost Burnup - Any fixes?

Bringing this thread back up for possibly some more takes. On our second rear window, and it's done it again. This time the dealer is trying to blame the tint.. which this window was tinted, but the first was not. Is the prevailing consensus for Bronco owners to just live with the burnt up...
  4. Rear Window Defrost Burnup - Any fixes?

Certainly not a huge deal, but my wife splurged for the HEL so I wouldn't be thrilled to hear a toasted rear window is considered "normal" for a $70k vehicle.. or even a $50k new vehicle lol Something is clearly screwy, and there are a handful of "exploding rear glass" threads around here and...
  5. Rear Window Defrost Burnup - Any fixes?

Hahah true that, the seats get hot quick! We are in the midwest, pretty mild this winter other than a few days around O- -5ish F.
  6. Rear Window Defrost Burnup - Any fixes?

Wife's 24' Bronco rear window is burnt up along the defrost wires, when calling our local service department to warranty it the gentlemen unprompted told me he's done 2 himself since Christmas, so this seems like a common issue and I suspect contributes to the "random exploding rear glass"...
  7. Carplay/Sync no audio intermittent issue

1/10 or so times my wife's Bronco will show Carplay playing audio, but there's no sound. The only solution is to disconnect and reconnect the phone. A reset of the unit doesn't help. Is this a Carplay issue, Sync issue, Apple issue? Any input?
  8. "Complimentary" Off-Roadeo - Legit?

Got an email last week like 6 months after my wife and I purchased her Bronco off the lot. I see threads of people getting invites (Not specified as "Complimentary") while waiting for builds and asking if it's worth it. The consensus is yes. My question is, how "Complimentary" is this invite...
  9. From 'Stang to Bronco?

They are two very different cars/experiences. It depends on what he likes and wants to get out of his driving experience. I might get flamed here, but in my opinion, the Mustang is going to be a more full/fun driving experience (I would heavily suggest he opt for the MT while you can still get a...
  10. Badlands Leather And Washout Floor

I'll add my .02c, we spent most of a Saturday driving Broncos and Jeeps back to back for my wife. Heated seats and steering wheel were a must for her. The Bronco was MUCH quieter than the Jeeps, and I assume the carpet was a contributing factor. I'd venture to say upwards of 90% of these cars...
  11. What made you choose Bronco over Jeep Wrangler?

It's the wife's car, but I'm glad she went Bronco. We back to backed them for most of a Saturday. The Bronco has better road manners and for like 99% of the people that's where these will live 99% of the time. Unless wheeling is your main hobby, I'd be surprised if we made it off pavement 3...
  12. What is the most fun vehicle you have driven!! Bronco, Wrangler, anything else?

As I've mentioned elsewhere, off road stuff is not the world I come from, but was shocked to learn the Braptor came with a TT 3L V6 and not a big V8.. for nearly $100k. I understand weight distribution for hardcore off-roaders, but I think that misses the point of of vehicles like this, which is...
  13. My first Bronco Purchase. Need advice its a Hardop

Agreed, a lot of my cars have had loud exhaust, my view may not be that of the average consumer, but it's not that much louder than my E60 M5 with a stock exhaust. Our top is lined, which I guess helps (how much, I"m not sure) but we test drove a big bend and still didn't notice much, granted we...
  14. What is the most fun vehicle you have driven!! Bronco, Wrangler, anything else?

My wife bought me some laps in some fun cars, I thought the Huricon would be my favorite of the bunch, however the GT3 was the most thrilling ride. That thing howls, and gave a new meaning to "it handles like it's on rails". Highly recommend if you ever get the chance. I had an old 79' Z28 for...
  15. My first Bronco Purchase. Need advice its a Hardop

New to these ourselves, I spent my life in cars so coming from quiet and comfort (exhaust aside lol). We back to back drove some Jeeps and Broncos most of a Saturday, and the Bronco is considerably more quite/comfortable. The Heritage came with the Sasquatch and a hardtop, so 35s and it's as or...
  16. Dealer service records -- important for potential future buyer?

Is this correct for enthusiast vehicles like Bronco's, Wranglers etc? I suspected they weren't for econoboxs or general people movers, however the world I come from they are (Older cool cars and performance cars. Records for service, modifications, work done, tuning etc are always requested and...
  17. Dealer service records -- important for potential future buyer?

That's such a shame lol when I bought my V2, the story goes it was 1 owner traded in to a dealer, 09', less than 30k miles, cherry.. the guy I bought it from had it for like a year while waiting for a Blackwing he ordered. I assume the dealer pitched the records as well..
  18. Dealer service records -- important for potential future buyer?

This is great to know, I haven't looked through that app as only my wife has it activated, I'll have to check this out. Thank you! Thanks to the other responses as well, appreciate the feedback from others.
  19. Dealer service records -- important for potential future buyer?

This Bronco (my wife's) is our first new car, I have always serviced my cars at local indy shops a family friend owned trusting they would service the vehicles well in a timely manner, and haven't been let down. I keep records for my CTS V2 M6, run premium oil in it and regular intervals, etc. I...
  20. In LOVE with the Bronco! Want to leave car...

If you can comfortably afford it, I say go for it. Being a car guy most of my life, my wife's moardoor squatch rides perfectly fine. I see no problem driving 3+ hours in it. The mileage isn't great, but being a car person, if you can afford it, I don't sweat MPG. Before we bought her Bronco...
