I picked up and installed an OEM roof rack from a former member. I am working on a custom mount for a set of traction boards.
I also mocked up some rain channels today. I haven't committed to installing them yet. At the moment they are being held in place by the roof panels.
I knew that this was going to get all sorts of different opinions/reactions and I welcome them. That is why I asked.
This was an idea that has been running through my head for a while now. It wasn't until I started messing with AI that I got to actually see what this combination would look...
Thank you guys for the feedback!
I knew this combination would clash with the green. It's probably better suited on white, silver, or even cactus grey.
I'm in no rush to change the look of the wheels. I was just toying with the idea.
The comment about the hulk wearing a Pepsi rolex made me...
What sold me on my bronco was the color and the SAS package. I absolutely love the eruption green and actually like the factory SAS wheels.
That being said, I intend to run the SAS wheels for a while. Especially after how hard I've been on them. I've been toying with the idea of powder coating...
Thank you so much for running us through Windrock! We had an absolute blast. I can not wait to go back to finish the rest of the route.
Like I told you, when we hit that first obstacle on 22. I thought we might have bite of more than we could chew and that it was going to be a long day, lol...
I enjoyed watching the sunrise over Linville Gorge this morning.
Today is the last day of a five day offroad adventure. We will pack up camp and finish traveling down Old NC 105. After a quick stop at Brown Mountain OHV to run Trail 1, we will head home.
Great wheel choice. I love bronze wheels on eruption green.
I had KMC wheels on two previous vehicles. I had black Enduros on my Jeep and White Lobos on my F150. I will most likely stick with KMC if upgrade from the OEM SAS wheels.
As far as color, I may end up doing something out of left...
I owned a Jeep for 13 years and enjoyed my time with it. It took me all over the US and built some core memories on and off road.
I will say that once the 3.6 started having issues, it turned into a money pit. It seemed like every other month there was something that needed repaired/replaced...
My 25 came with the Goodyear Territory RTs as well. They have a little over 8k on them now.
I wish I could say I haven't had any issues with them. No punctures, but the lugs are ripping off. I made a post about it here.
