  1. Today should be the day the interior packages are shown.

"I feel like..." = a nothing statement. If it's going to be a big day, then say it. If someone is in a position to communicate official information, then they either need to be specific, or be quiet. These silly semantic games are getting old and don't help the reputations of the ones who are...
  2. 165k Reservations might be the 2021 cut off and a tall order to fulfill.

It’s not about the absolute numbers...it’s about tracking the relative level of demand over time. As one would expect, there was a surge at the start but it flattened out very quickly. That’s a likely indicator that many people took advantage of the cheap and refundable fee and reserved one on...
  3. 165k Reservations might be the 2021 cut off and a tall order to fulfill.

The barriers to entry are absurdly low. All Ford required for was a completely refundable $100 deposit. The amount of drop-off is going to be significant. Any online forum is going to skew to the enthusiast crowd, but the vast majority of people who put down those deposits are not on this site...
  4. 165k Reservations might be the 2021 cut off and a tall order to fulfill.

Also, since the deposits are refundable, I’m sure they have to be accounted for differently. They can’t go spending $16.5 when they don’t know how much of that money they’re even going to keep.
  5. Why are you choosing 2 or 4 door Bronco? Which will have better resale value?

The Wrangler is the closest thing we can compare it to, and there seems to be far higher demand and better resale for the 4-doors. They seem to fit most people’s lifestyles better.
  6. Cruise Control with a manual

I have two older German cars - a 2001 Audi and a 2003 BMW - both of which have manual transmissions and cruise control. It works great in both. Just shift up to whatever gear you plan to stay in for awhile and set it.
  7. Who's bought a vehicle sight unseen before?

I’ve done it four times, not including the Bronco: 2 BMWs, a MINI and an Audi. All were pre-owned, which made it considerably riskier than buying a new car from a manufacturer/dealer with a warranty. Fortunately, they all worked out great.
  8. Some math to find out delivery timeline for your Bronco

I completely agree. And given the cheap buy-in, I bet there are lots of opportunists who saw the hype and plunked down $100 to get an early reservation in hopes of selling their spot at a premium to someone who can’t stand the wait or can afford to pay to cut in line. No clue whether or not the...
  9. Bronco Reservations Tracking List & Stats [Enter Yours!]

Submitted. 4-door Outer Banks reserved on 9/1/2020.
  10. 2.3 EcoBoost vs 2.7 EcoBoost - Poll

Echoing many of the sentiments in the thread, I’ll probably get the 2.7L as long as the price difference is reasonable (~$2,000 or less). If it’s only a $1K upcharge, then it’s a no-brainer.
  11. Bronco Budget Poll & Financial Talk

My wife and I reserved a 4-door Outer Banks, which will be her primary vehicle. Based on what I’ve seen of the pricing, I’m expecting It to cost somewhere in the low-to-mid $50K range with the options we like. We should be able to sell her current car for ~$20K (or maybe trade it in if we get a...
