I have been experiencing the cold start rattle as well. Took it into the dealership and they just got word from Ford that they need to replace all 4 Variable Camshaft Timing Units (cam phasers). I live in Austin and both Ford dealerships in my area told me they have never heard of the Bronco...
I got my baby pic, however, mine has been sitting at the Rail Yard (final destination) since July 3rd and they have moved my window 4 times...now it's July 15-21. The dealer has no insight either.
Well....Ford is finally tracking that my Bronco has made it via rail to San Antonio, TX waiting to be picked up via convoy. New delivery window 7/5 - 7/11. So close....yet sooooooo far!!! I went and chatted with my dealer yesterday....apparently the dealerships are notified of a delivery the...
Kind of amusing....I know my Bronco arrived in Kirby, TX (drop off point outside of San Antonio) on July 2nd. I've been tracking it via CSX. I contacted Ford to find out if my delivery window changed, and they told me that my vehicle is in Illinois with an estimated delivery window of July...
Wow, yours has been sitting down there for almost 2 weeks?
I had someone tell me that the cars sit at Kirby until they have a full load on the truck. Perhaps that's the delay??
So you know what my next question will be….lol
Do you know how people are tracking when the vehicle is taken off the rail car and on to the truck? I’m seeing tons of people give minute to minute updates!
Was the dealership able to track it once it left Kirby, or did you just wait for the call?
Mine arrived in Kirby today and has to make its way to Georgetown.
Ford Chat is up and running today. Each time I contact them, they give me less information. I'll just continue stalking CSX! My delivery date is 7/1-7/7...and it just left St. Louis...final destination of Georgetown, TX. Don't see this realistically happening.
Nothing about this process has been easy! Ugh.
My stuggles started when I placed my order in July '21 and was never informed by my dealer that the color had been discontinued - so from July to October, the order just sat until I went on the website and tried to build my Bronco (just for fun)...
The chat hasn't worked for me either....they are probably sick of all of us chatting them up numerous times a day!! :)
I did call Ford directly and was informed that I have a $250 certificate to go towards the purchase of my Bronco. If you haven't called yet, I highly recommend you do...I just...
Just wondering how long it took for you to get your delivery from Gibson? My Bronco arrives in Gibson tomorrow and it's final destination is Georgetown, TX.
