  3. Another 2.3 brakes issue thread: it's a real problem this time

My Bronco is still at the dealership, and it's been about two weeks after some back and forth with Ford. I'll give it another couple of weeks at the dealership before I start looking into my state's lemon laws.
  4. Another 2.3 brakes issue thread: it's a real problem this time

I was able to reproduce the problem at the dealership service dept. They are now working with Ford to get to a resolution. I'll be sure to post updates. Thanks everyone for the great ideas so far!
  5. Another 2.3 brakes issue thread: it's a real problem this time

Thanks for the insight. The more ideas I can give to the dealership the better!
  6. Another 2.3 brakes issue thread: it's a real problem this time

Thanks for checking! This wasn't a problem for the first 7k miles on my Bronco. It's a problem that crept up in the past couple of months. My suspicion is that some component is failing, and it's not a systemic problem with Broncos in general.
  7. Another 2.3 brakes issue thread: it's a real problem this time

Yeah that makes sense. Even if a line to a rear wheel was choked and not providing stopping power, it doesn't explain the loss of pressure.
  8. Another 2.3 brakes issue thread: it's a real problem this time

Thanks. So far getting great advice here. Parallel parking is the least of my worries. I'm worried about traveling a bit faster while doing an extreme turn and the brakes failing.
  9. Another 2.3 brakes issue thread: it's a real problem this time

Thanks. Will add to the list of things for dealer mechanic to check. I know little about these things, so I bet the mechanic would absolutely love for me to give him advice.
  10. Another 2.3 brakes issue thread: it's a real problem this time

Thanks! I'll give this information to the mechanic.
  11. Another 2.3 brakes issue thread: it's a real problem this time

The brakes do come back to pressure after turning the wheel back to a less extreme angle. Pumping the brakes seems to help too. Agreed that it seems like either the vacuum line or maybe somehow the brake line getting choked. It also happens in both directions, extreme left and right.
  12. Another 2.3 brakes issue thread: it's a real problem this time

My brakes felt fine until I started experiencing this problem.
  13. Another 2.3 brakes issue thread: it's a real problem this time

All stock everything. Tires, wheels, suspension, brakes.
  14. Another 2.3 brakes issue thread: it's a real problem this time

TLDR: Vehicle is losing brake pressure when steering wheel is turned to the extreme and coming to a stop. 2.3 Badlands SAS. A few weeks back I began noticing occasional loss of brake pressure when moving at slow speeds, and particularly when parallel parking. The brake pedal loses most of its...
  15. How did Goodyear get this contract

People and competitors wouldn't just spread fear, uncertainty and doubt on an internet forum. Would they?
  16. BMW: 0 vs Bronco: 1 (rear end incident)

Correct. A plastic bumper would have disintegrated.
