I'm pretty rural, and my driveway is literally a logging road. And I wasn't doing a Jeep again. I once had a Wrangler JK 2-door, which I largely consider the biggest piece of shit I ever owned. I'm quite fond of the Bronco by comparison. :)
First, critically, grab a couple cold beers. Put some music on.
I only hand wash the Red Yeti, generally using the two bucket method. I really like the Chemical Guys products. I use their Mr. Pink as my basic soap, and use their wash mitts. Also got a big drying towel. Like Austin said...
FWIW, at least based on MY23 Bronco B&P, a "stripped" 2-door Rubi is within $800 of a "stripped" Badlands...as long as they are both hard tops (I know, I know, then the Rubi isn't really stripped, etc). I can't believe Ford doesn't have a factory soft top for the 2-door after four model years.
It's interesting that Ford has decided just not to compete with the Wrangler at the low end. When they did, the Base was a much more livable vehicle than the Wrangler Sport. Sport doesn't have power locks or windows even. Add SAS to Base and Ford wasn't competing with anyone but themselves...
If Ford is going the way of not all trims having all engine options, and 2-door only for some trims, my guess is:
Only off-road oriented trims will have a 2-door option (so BD, BL)
Lower trims (BB and BD) won't have the 2.7 as an option
BL loses 2.3 as an option (UNLESS MT is back, then maybe)...
I'd love a plug-and-play subwoofer un-delete kit for those of us that won that particular lottery. I guess with the outstanding work folks have done here though, it's not that hard to buy a Fusion amp and a no-modifications-needed speaker. But still surprised no one bundled a simple kit.
Traded in my 2019 Volkswagen GTI Rabbit Edition for a 2023 2-door Wildtrak. Got almost what I paid for it new on trade-in. We spend a lot of time in rural virginia, and while the GTI was a blast on mountain twisties, it was not well suited for mud, snow, logging roads, etc. Wish I could have...
What is Ford's definition of "gross stock?" Is that vehicles sitting at Ford, sitting on trains, and sitting on dealer lots? What about sales in Q1 that weren't delivered until Q2? Trying to make sense of the Mach-E numbers, which seem really not great for Ford.
