  1. did the kicker sub swap.. not worth it.

I did the ForScan changes back in July after I did the speaker swap, it definitely helped with the sound (before I added a sub). I can't remember all of the details but here are the links to check out. You need one of these adapters, I think there are others but this is what I bought...
  2. Adding speakers to B & O sound system?

I tapped into the kick panel speakers, those are full range and what you need to get sound to the amp, there are some videos on YouTube that show which wires to use. The amp I have has a speaker wire input option, but I believe you can get a line out converter too that you can run the speaker...
  3. Speakers under the rear seat

I got everything installed, I've got Kicker CS speakers all around (dash, kick panel, bars, under seat) then I got a 12" down firing Kicker 48CDF124 and for the amp I went with the Rockford Fosgate R2-300X4 50x4 (I found it for $210 on Amazon so saved $70). I put the 6.5s under the rear seat...
  4. Best ground location in rear for amp

Figured it out, it's just behind that little panel so you don't have to remove the whole thing
  5. Best ground location in rear for amp

I know there is a ground under the panel where the factory sub should be but I don't want to pull that panel off. I've seen some videos that suggest a bold on one of the tie downs or just scraping off paint on the metal under the rear cargo mat. But any other suggestions, I'm working on the...
  6. Speakers under the rear seat

Quick update if anyone is interested, I found another pair of 6.5 speaker boxes that fit perfectly between the bars and wedge under the seat so they won't move. https://www.ebay.com/itm/195948739186 So I ordered all of the speakers, amp, etc and next weekend I'll do the install. I'll post pics...
  7. Speakers under the rear seat

Maybe once in a while, but I haven't put the seats down since I got it. Plus my thought was since they are small boxes, if I really needed to I could just remove them temporarily.
  8. Speakers under the rear seat

So I have an update in case anyone was interested, I bought the 6x9 boxes to see if they would fit and it did fit on the drivers side but not the passengers side because the bars under the single seat are too close together. So back to the drawing board.
  9. Speakers under the rear seat

Thanks for the response, I've watches several fo your videos which helped with the initial speaker swap (and not breaking tabs) and the Forscan tuning. It makes sense not to put anything under the seat if you have them down 50% of the time. But I don't haul much big stuff and the only reason...
  10. Speakers under the rear seat

Hey folks, first time posting, I got my Bronco a couple months ago, it's a 2021 Black Diamond with the base sound system. I used to do my own stereo stuff when I was younger but it's been almost 20 years so I'm a little rusty. So first thing I did was swap the stock speakers and added Mabett...
