I recently installed the Mabett LED trail sights and was wondering if I can wire the extra harness that goes to the fuse box to an (aftermarket) auxiliary switch instead? I don't think this would be the case, but I don't want to risk sending voltage the wrong way through the harness that...
So are the new kicker key 200.4’s different in the fact that running power from the head unit is no longer an option? Or has nothing materially changed and running power from the battery is just a way to prevent clipping?
2016 X5 M. It was my dad mobile/weekend track car. Once I learned our local drag strip near Denver was closing I thought it was time for something more practical, sold it and upgraded to a 2023 Outer Banks which I found in CA for just under MSRP. CO Ford dealers want MSRP plus your first born...
Yup, I’m running the stock non SAS 32’s that come on the outer banks. Forgot to mention I have the 2.7L, mostly normal mode with the occasional sport mode to merge on the highway
2023 Outer Banks, non SAS. Using the trip odometer, 19.1 - 20.4. After installing the K&N CAI, 21.0 - 21.7 with the same commute/route etc. I thought the added MPG from a CAI was BS, but so far it has produced results.
Same thing happened to me, I installed the K&N CAI @ 1500 miles in my 2023 outer banks and the check engine light immediately came on with the same code, P0111. I used an instructional video to install it and a very important step was missed. This step is included on the printed K&N instructions...
I’ll add another vote for the 6.75” Kicker 4 Ohm. I ordered and installed the 2 ohm and it didn’t sound very good, almost like it was pre-blown. Replaced it with the 4 ohm and it is a much sharper sound as you’d expect.
Big thanks to @RagnarKon for the instructional install videos, very helpful!
Replaced the stock intake on my new 2023 Bronco at 1530 miles with a K&N CAI. Reused some of the hardware so all of the screws etc to fit the mounts in the engine aren’t included, but I’ll send what I have. Otherwise complete. 2.7L V6 (NOT the 2.3L 4cyl or the 3.0L Raptor engines). $150 OBO +...
Replaced my OEM speaker system with Kicker speakers at about 1500 miles. $50 OBO + $20 Shipping
Two 6.5” kick panel speakers (Ford part #m2dt-18808-bc)
Four 4” tweeters for front dash and rear roll bar (Ford part # m2dt-18808-ab)
I saved the kicker speakers boxes so they'll come packaged nicely.
