obviously these look great but are not intended to act as a true slider like the rockslide Engineering are but how much of a hit do you think they would take. Thanks.
love your rig. I also have a Velocity Blue Badlands Sasquatch On 37 Mickey Thompson Boss. I'm curious about your 1 inch spacers. Are you seeing rubbing in the front or rear of your fenderwells? I have a set on the way because I rub on the frame just a touch at full lock. My concern is that...
Epic and Unforgettable are exactly the terms for this Run. So happy to have been a part of something this hard. I will add the videos I have from the trip here.
It’s very simple. And yes a good blade on a Sawzall takes it off like butter. But the front body mount is integrated into the crash bar mount so I used the JKS max tire clearance kit. Very easy install and looks factory when done...
Looks awesome!! I removed the mount the crash-bars go into. If you’ve heard it rub a couple of times just look around the paint rubs off pretty quick and you will see.
I was originally CO but changed to Velocity Blue and am so glad. I believe that VB stands out even more than CO. The only other color that might stand out as much is Race Red but I love my VB!!! Do it you won't be disappointed, I promise
@Salicrupa, Curious what you decided to do? Just to add to the confusion I will tell you that I am running stock Sasquatch suspension with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT's in 37x12.5R17's on stock wheels and no wheel spacers. I did the JKS max tire clearance kit to remove the crash bar brackets...
yes first and foremost the shock doesn't hang so low under the axle. but also a spacer puts the spring into a compressed state and ultimately shortens the stroke of the shock. So in my opinion this is a great option for the rear.
if I understand correctly the housing is machined to function as a bushing the total way across instead of the stock which does not support the shaft but only has a small seal. It seems to be a similar concept to the current bronco bushing but in full CNC aluminum, I look forward to more info...
no lift is about as minimum as you can get. Lift does not create clearance. that being said lift does other things like improving brakeover, approach and departure angles.
here is mine. 37x12.5r17 mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT's which are about as true 37's as you can get. I had rubbing on...
thanks I'm loving it. Yes the max tire kit comes with a bracket that replaces the plastic block (see last photo). the suggest using push pins to hold the liner back but I found that zip ties are more secure.
