May be, but this was a pic before the frame was getting rolled out to have the new one replace it. All I know is that I will be getting the certification and laser alignment sheets to verify meeting factory specs before this is signed off...:fingerscrossed:
A new frame is better than a straightened frame.(y)
Somebody will correct me if I'm wrong but i doubt cutting out and replacing frame sections is a thing with insurance repairs.
Straightening a tweaked frame with no wrinkles in the metal is.
For some reason frame racks seem to be fading away.

Yeah - I wanted no part of any "let's bend this back" or "piece it together" solution. And if I had been hit on a corner or side and had any body damage beyond the 'straight-on' bumper and tailgate replacements, my guess is that it would have been totaled out. Great getting a new frame, but sucks having this ding on its record.

100% agree. If you weren't at fault for this accident, I would file a diminished value claim with the at fault persons insurance. At least then you will make up some of the lost value... My lawyer spoke with me about this and I will be doing that once I get my truck back.

Am at the start of that right now. I have so many modifications but the value will take a hit. Will let you know how that process works out - I expect a fight from his insurance company, but it is pretty clear cut and NJ law is on my side

Unfortunately insurance will always fight when they are supposed to pay out... You shouldn't have much of a problem getting it though. I'm assuming they are going to criminally undervalue what your rig is worth but your lawyer should help you fight that.

Literally what happened to me. My bronco was parked on the street when it got rear ended on the driver side quarter panel/wheel/tailgate. Insurance totaled it once repairs reached $30k and they were still adding parts/expected labor. Needed a new frame, axle, tailgate, all the harnesses and aftermarket coilovers. Glad you're able to get your bronco back on the road safely.
