Tell me, how much work is needed to swap the headlights? Looking to replace the stock light with either the DV8 or similar. I hate removing trim so I'm curious.
It’s not too much work just depends what you have already installed on your front end.

Since I have the Turn off road prerunner bar and and it has 2 bolts in a tight location I found it easier to just remove bumper and unplug my fogs, to drop the bumper.

But it’s not required to remove the bumper, I just did to not mess with those bolts.

Just remove the top plastic piece above the radiator to get to the bolts to remove grill.

Then unclip the first clip of the fender flares to remove painted body panel below grill. Then you are ready to remove the headlights.

It’s pretty simple, just go easy and slow to avoid breaking any clips. Also DV8 headlights have the side markers not attached to headlights so those actually get used on the screw holes on the side of grill.

These are the screw holes meant for the side markers.

Thanks for the picture with the bumper off, I was wondering what it looked like behind there. I installed the grill marker lights from SPV, they have a good video that shows you how to get the grill off. It might be helpful for headlight replacement

Well I wasn’t expecting this to happen but the electrical gremlins decided to meet my DV8 headlights. The issue is just cosmetic which is the white halo went out. So the DRLs would just be the amber part with no halo.

I loved the look of these DRLs too but seeing it with the halo out kind of ruined the look 😢.

I found out this specific headlight design has many issues. Xprite USA would have problems with the amber part and side markers and the projectors melting the headlight surround. Rough country headlights with the same issue. The DV8 headlights included a little module you plug into the headlights then the harness inside the bronco which fixed those issues just not the white halo not on.

I loved DV8s customer service though with these headlights since they stood behind the product and recommended customers to get a full refund and destroy the headlights so people can’t resell them. They said it could take awhile when they contacted the parent company of these headlights design. Also for now they have these headlights on a stop sale, so you can’t buy them on their site right now.

For now I’ll be running OEM sig headlights until a fix happens to the DV8 headlights and they have no issues arise in 1 year.

When they arrive I plan to put on stickerfabs amber tint for the led bar on the sigs. To somewhat get that old school look back.

We want that exact prerunner bar but are concerned about camera interference.
Does it interfere with the front camera?

(We live on open range and occasionally have to nudge some knothead wild cow or horse out of the road)

I don’t have a front camera, the standard HEs only came with the back up.

On the second post of this thread it shows the Prerunner bar front camera view. Hope this helps!

Here’s pics if link doesn’t work.
