After the Overhead MOLLE Panel System went live, we received a lot of useful questions from Bronco6G members:
Will it rattle?
Does it take away headroom?
How much can it actually hold?
How complicated is the install?
And, of course: Can I still take the roof off?
Fair questions—especially for something mounted directly above your head.
So instead of running through another feature list, here are the parts we think actually matter in day-to-day Bronco use.
Use the Space You Already Have
The Broaddict Overhead MOLLE Panel System for the 2021–2026 Ford Bronco 4-Door turns otherwise unused overhead space into a dedicated mounting area for smaller gear that usually ends up buried somewhere in the cargo area.
It combines:
The cooler has already claimed enough territory.
It’s Supported by the Bronco, Not the Plastic Trim
The system connects through the B-pillars and roll-bar crossmember, creating a rigid supporting structure instead of simply hanging a metal panel from interior trim.
MOLLE Panel Capacity: Up to 55 lbs of evenly distributed cargo
B-Pillar Support Structure: Tested to withstand 220 lbs of pulling force without bending
Those are separate ratings. The 220-lb figure describes the strength test of the supporting structure—it does not mean 220 lbs of gear belongs above your passengers.
We like storage. We also like gravity remaining uneventful.
No Drilling, No Cutting—and Yes, the Roof Still Comes Off
Installation uses the Bronco’s existing factory mounting locations.
Only the plastic B-pillar trim covers need to be removed. The structural B-pillar braces stay in place.
And most importantly:
Normal roof removal is still available.
The system is designed for both hard-top and soft-top 4-door Broncos, so adding overhead storage does not mean giving up one of the main reasons people bought a Bronco in the first place.

What About Rattles?
This was one of the biggest concerns from the community, and understandably so.
The rigid B-pillar/crossmember mounting structure is designed to keep the system stable and reduce unnecessary movement. Properly secured accessories, correct installation and evenly tightened hardware are still important—especially after repeated trail use.
The intended result is an organized MOLLE system.
Not an overhead percussion section.
One More Update for Bronco6G
