If you're planning on getting a truck from a dealer, definitely take into account the sales tax on the trade in value. Like mentioned above, that can be $2500-3K saved on the new vehicle. If you do still have a loan on the Bronco then the dealer will also deal with paying that off for you which makes things easier. So you would need to sell your Bronco privately for roughly $3-4K more than the dealer is offering to break even. If you're buying a truck private party then the dealer does you no good.
