Hey everyone!

This will be our first time attending the Smoky Mountain Bronco Stampede, and we’re excited to finally experience it.

For those of you who’ve been before, what advice would you give a first-timer?
  • What are the can’t-miss parts of the event?
  • Are there any trails, vendors, or activities we should make a point to check out?
  • Any tips for parking, getting around, or avoiding the busiest times?
  • Where’s the best place to grab dinner after a day at the event?
We’ll be there to meet fellow Bronco owners, see some incredible builds, and soak it all in. We’d love to hear what made the event memorable for you.

Looking forward to meeting some of you there!

If you haven’t gotten an upgraded tailgate reinforcement and havoc is there they’ll have them for like $50. Past 2 years that’s been the deal. I bought one worked great.

It’s a decent event focused more on vendors than anything.

• the inside is filled with vendors and show and shine folks that paid for premium space. Outside the convention center is more vendors and the show and shine area.

• as far as trails/activities go - not really a trail focused event. You can shoot down to Cades Cove through Wares Valley Road and hit Parsons Branch which is a nice scenic “off-road” drive. Thursday night at the hard rock is the pre kick off event where there’s a hang out, Friday night is cruising the strip when the sun goes down, Saturday night is a big get together under the bypass at Quaker Steak and Lube to end the event. Sunday is an event led Cades Cove drive for those that want to attend.

• pigeon forge is busy regardless of the event so traffic is going to be bad just plan ahead that it may take you awhile to get where you need to go. The morning getting to the show is fine as most tourist are still sleeping it’s the afternoon and evenings that get really crowded.

• there’s a lot of decent restaurants in Pigeon Forge Harpoon Harry’s is pretty good for seafood, gorilla tacos, Flavortown, Plunkets, to name a few.

This will be our second time attending. We checked out the vendor hall and bought new bumpers from Havoc. The Cades Cove ride was a lot of fun as well. It was well organized, and we had a chance to talk with a bunch of cool folks out there while we waited.

If you're looking for some of the best southern food anywhere, especially fried chicken, check out Applewood Farmhouse Grill in Sevierville. Breakfast is easy in Pigeon Forge; there are all kinds of good options up and down the main drag.
