The system is designed for both hard-top and soft-top 4-door Broncos, with no drilling required. Only the plastic B-pillar trim covers are removed; the structural braces stay in place.

I would have suggested having it capable of mounting a Starlink Mini on it, but from the photos, it doesn’t look wide enough or low enough to clear the roof with one.

How does it fit under a hard top?

It mounts inside the cabin beneath the factory hard top and is designed not to interfere with normal hard-top use. Installation is no-drill—only the plastic B-pillar trim covers need to be removed, while the structural B-pillar braces stay in place.

My Beretta 1301 weighs about 6.5lbs.

The MOLLE panel is rated for up to 55 lbs, while the B-pillar mounting structure is rated for 220 lbs.

A 6.5-lb item is within the panel’s stated capacity, but it should still be secured with a properly rated, locking mount. Please also account for higher dynamic forces during sudden braking or off-road driving.

Interesting. This is an upgrade to the DV8 overhead MOLLE panel. The USB is a nice touch; I, too, wonder how it would be routed.
The overhead grab bar is one of my favorite things about the DV8 unit. It is good to see another company incorporate it into their design. I would guess it would fit in the same way as my current bar does, but I wonder if having the Armadillo top would make this installation a bit cumbersome.

I keep several things on my current setup. Molle bag, my radio, and a few other off-road items. I also just noticed it would have a light. Another nice touch.

Interested to see how this goes.

The Broaddict setup combines the overhead MOLLE panel and grab bar into a reinforced structure tied into the Bronco’s B-pillars. The MOLLE panel is rated for up to 55 lbs, while the B-pillar support structure is rated for 220 lbs, so it is designed to stay stable with radios, MOLLE bags, cameras, and other properly secured trail gear.

A few other differences built into this version:

• Integrated dimmable LED reading light with a touch switch
• Built-in USB and USB-C charging ports
• MOLLE slots and accessory mounting points for cameras, radios, and 1-inch ball mounts
• Removable rear grab handle for easier access or future accessory expansion
• No-drill installation using factory mounting locations
• Compatible with four-door factory hard-top and soft-top models without interfering with normal top removal

The power-routing steps and connection points will be shown clearly in the installation guide, which will be added to the product page shortly.

As for the Armadillo top, we have not verified that specific aftermarket setup yet, so we would rather confirm the clearance and mounting area before promising compatibility. That is a very useful fitment question, though, and we’ll pass it to the product team.

I'll take one lol, also, wish you guys make the rear lower molle panels for 4 door rear soft top. I have the upper ones for the rear windows, but the other lower molle panels wont fit with my soft top.

Can you just buy the B-brace separately? Some may just want that brace and not the middle molle piece that connects to the front.

The Overhead MOLLE Panel System is compatible with both hard-top and soft-top 4-door Broncos. It is currently offered only as a complete assembly, and the B-pillar brace is not available separately at this time.

We’ll pass along the request for a brace-only option, as well as a lower rear MOLLE solution, to our product team. Any standalone brace would need separate fitment and load testing before release, but it definitely sounds like there may be real interest in that option.

Yes—the system does provide additional cross-support through its integrated mounting structure, which connects to the Bronco’s B-pillars and roll-bar crossmember. This helps keep the overhead assembly stable and reduces movement when carrying properly secured gear.

In testing, the B-pillar support structure withstood 220 lbs of pulling force without bending, while the MOLLE panel is rated for up to 55 lbs of distributed load.

That said, its primary purpose is overhead storage, lighting, charging, and equipment mounting. We wouldn’t position it as a direct replacement for a dedicated chassis or body brace—but the reinforced structure is definitely more than just a panel hanging above your head.

Not saying it hasn't been considered, but I'd be interested to see the market research on who is more likely to mod their vehicle though. I feel like us 2 door people are far more likely to dump a bunch of mods into our vehicles, given that an owner of a 2 door is probably much more of an enthusiast than the after 4 door grocery getter.

Fair point—and we definitely wouldn’t argue that 2-door owners are short on enthusiasm or modification plans.

The 4-door version was prioritized because of the current engineering and fitment path, not because we think 4-door owners are more serious builders. The 2-door has different roof geometry, mounting points, and clearance requirements, so it would need its own design and testing rather than a shortened copy.

BTW, in the product images, the side brackets are labeled as “LF” and “LR” with arrows pointing forward. Should that be “LF” and “RF” for “Left Front” and “Right Front”?
