Hello, all. I have a 2022 4-dr Wildtrak, and I have the KC Titan light bar mounted on top. I have a hard top at the moment, but am considering getting a Bestop E-Top… I’ve got a couple questions.

1. What’s everybody’s experience been with the E-Top?

2. Have you found the E-Top to be ridiculously loud with a light bar?

I'll give it to you straight: combining a windshield-mounted light bar with any soft top is a recipe for absolute wind noise hell.

1. Experience: The Bestop E-Top is an awesome piece of tech and the convenience of push-button open air is unbeatable. However, at the end of the day, it is still a canvas soft top. You are going to lose the sound-deadening qualities of your factory hardtop, so the baseline cabin noise is naturally going to go up.

2. The Light Bar Noise: This is the dealbreaker. Any light bar mounted above the windshield completely destroys the aerodynamics of the Bronco. Instead of air flowing smoothly up the glass and over the roof, the light bar chops that air up and dumps highly turbulent air directly onto the front edge of the roof.

With a hardtop, this just sounds like a loud, rushing wind. But with a soft top, that turbulent air hits the canvas and turns your roof into a literal snare drum. The buffeting and flapping at highway speeds (70+ mph) will be deafening.

I have a 22 wildtrak 4 door and I have the KC light bar. I had the OEM soft top and yes, it added a ripple noise I replaced my soft top with the BestTop etop and immediately noticed a major improvement in the noise. At highway speeds I can keep the radio at a normal volume and still have a conversation with my passengers in the back. It still is a soft top, so the noise isn’t eliminated but the etop is a major improvement even with my light bar.

Any chance you could take a little clip of what it’s like at speed? Appreciate your thoughts.

I have one on order - as you can see in my profile I have Pod lights which cause flapping at highway speeds -- I will update after install
