Hi Bronco fam,

We are currently in the R&D phase for a new full-length side step designed to balance everyday styling and utility with solid trail protection. To make sure we build exactly what you guys actually wants to run on your rigs, we want to skip the guesswork and get your direct feedback.

We've got 4 quick questions on the design, functionality, and safety. Check out the photos and let us know your honest thoughts:

Q1: Overall Styling(Pic 1)
How do you feel about the overall look of this full-length step in Pic 1? Does it match the design language you look for? What do you like, and what would you change?

Q2: Purpose Preference (Rock Slider vs. Functional Step)
When upgrading your lower rocker protection, do you lean more towards a hardcore, frame-mounted Rock Slider built to take brutal hits on the rocks, or a functional Side Step focused on daily stepping area and solid anti-slip traction?

Q3: Split Shipping/Packaging (Pic 2)
To prevent shipping damage on heavy steel components and keep transit costs reasonable for everyone, would you be cool with receiving the mounting brackets and the main step bodies in two separate packages? (Check out Pic 2 for the packaging concept).

Q4: Open vs. Filled Side Profiles (Safety & Trail Concern - Pic 3)
Take a look at Pic 3. For those side profile cutouts, would you prefer them to be fully filled/closed off with steel plates, or kept open as they are now? Our team is a bit concerned that the current open gaps might accidentally catch a foot when stepping out, or snag trail debris (like branches or rocks) during technical wheeling. What’s your take on this?

Drop your honest feedback, rants, or suggestions in the replies below. We’re taking notes on this thread seriously before making the final production adjustments.

Thanks for your time, let's hear what you think!
