Key fob configuration and key fob sensing

OK, but how would you set this? Unplug all door handles except for the driver's?

The only setting I could find was the "press unlock and lock on the fob together" to change it to drivers door only unlocking. This set correctly but did not change the "all doors" operation of keyless unlocking.

Please tell me how to get to the setting you are referring to.

Select Driver's Door Only rather than All Doors.

That doesn't disable proximity sensors, but only the driver's door will open when you touch the handle or push the button on the remote.

Note: mine is a 23. It's possible the menus have changed since then, so YMMV.

Mine has exactly the same settings, 20/23 Badlands.

I tried to do this just today actually. Wanted to leave my key in the HitchSafe I have. I too was unable to find the setting to turn off the keyless entry entirely. Super annoying as it should be something that should be able to be turned completely off at the owner's option. Luckily when the key is in the HitchSafe the Bronco doesn't "see" the key signal so doesn't stay unlocked. But may buy a Faraday key pouch to make sure.

Try something easier. I just left a key in my Bronco for about 30 minutes. I then went out and could not get in. I had to back in the house and get my other key fob so I could unlock my Bronco.

The key fob has a motion sensor, it goes to sleep if it doesn't move for a while.

The driver's door only setting sounds good but is a bit odd. If I want to open the rear door (or any other non drivers door), I must use the door panel unlock button after opening the drivers door. The odd part is that now all the locks unlock AND all the windows go down a half inch waiting for whichever door might get opened.

All I want is to have door control by meams of the fob buttons without any proximity events. A better method would be: single fob press for the drivers door only, long fob press (or double press) for all doors.
