I haven’t heard many people mention any noticeable drone — it’s just slightly louder inside the cabin. There are several on here that I have helped with that exhaust ... so perhaps they'll provide their most recent feedback!
I've had this on my 2dr 2.7 for some time now, and while the muffler was very easy to install and looks great, it's probably coming back off in the near future. For a exhaust that advertises to be low on drone the drone is excessive IMO, and I've had quite a few vehicles with upgraded exhaust over the years. I added a tip extension to get it under the bumper but that did not help. The tone is pretty decent at idle but once the RPMs hit 1.9 all the way through the 2000's it resonates throughout the entire cabin. You feel it in the steering wheel and in your chest. Once past that RPM range it is acceptable again but unfortunately that's where the Bronco resides most of the time, especially if using sport mode. I generally use sport mode when towing and have yet to do so since installing this muffler, but the wife is probably going to force a swap out the 1st time we try that out. I can't see her not complaining of a splitting headache before we even get out of town.
It saved 10 lbs off the rear and looks good without that big stock can hanging down but rather disappointed in the excessive drone at normal speeds :(

I can't speak for your experience - our head of IT owns this Bronco & he has had nothing but good things to say about the exhaust - haven't heard him complain about you are describing. I send this feedback in for awareness:

I’m in a 7MT and I agree. There are certain RPMs that are pretty grating. But, once I’m holding steady at 2500-3100 or so it’s fine.

I also have the same experience. Exhaust looks amazing and sounds nice but at certain rpms it booms inside the cabin. Installed without a tip and it was quite noticeable. Took a 1000km trip on the highway hovering around 90km/h and it droned. Coming out of the car after 5 hours our ears were like coming out of a club when younger haha.

I put on a 10 inch tip after but hated the look, so got a stainless tip off Temu for $19 and it looks perfect now. Just below the bottom of the rear bumper. It made it less drone driving around the city but on the highway it still does it at 90kmh when holding the gas. On the 2.3 engine.

Ive had many exhausted, straight piped cars in the past so not too worried ATM, but keeping the stock exhaust in case we get sick of it a few years down the road.

Temu exhaust looks like this for those interested. If you get some coupons it's like $19 cad shipped. Great quality for that price...

Sorry to hear you are discontinuing your exhaust axle-back muffler. I bought one and just installed it, it is a really good product and I am a super picky person. The sound is louder, but only at low idle and is pretty quite and typical freeway cruising speeds. I did add a end-piece for looks and for a small amount of sound reduction. If you ever decide to resurrect this product, maybe add a feature that allows adjustment/customization of sound by add-on resonators (just a thought).
