Spare Tire Adapter for 1up Bike Racks. This prototype was created by forum user @bb163

This thing AWESOME! I am finally able to free up my hitch and regain my stock departure angles while going offroad. That's why I think this will become a must-have for anyone who goes offroad while carrying a bike - especially those who already have a 1up rack.

Hi @paleh0rse, I'm in the same boat wanting to use a 1UP tray on my spare with the only difference being I'm looking to mount it directly above the spare using a spare tire basket and brackets attached to the tailgate like these from x-rack. Any chance you explored this setup as well...curious if you had in addition to what you went with and also how your 1UP rack has performed/survived being back there.

I've got the x-rack basket and bracket setup on my bronco. it's pretty nice. The basket actually just bolts onto their L brackets - so you could potentially just get the 1up rooftop trays and figure out some mounting solution to bolt them down. Wouldn't be too hard.

It's been a while since I looked at X-rack- but I think the tray was an optional purchase when I bought it.

Thanks @flashpunk, great to hear you're liking the x-rack setup. The tray is still an option however I was considering just getting the x-rack L brackets and potentially mounting the 1UP rack directly to that. I've got a Turn Offroad tailgate reinforcement though so not sure if the x-rack brackets are compatible but in process on connecting with them to determine dimensions etc. to check.
