Going with an aftermarket auxiliary controller and looking for the best place to mount it under the hood. Pictures would be great

I built one and mounted it to the stock fuse box lid with enough slack to still open it (and quick disconnects to fully remove if necessary)

But that area might not give you enough clearance. There is an empty pocket between this and the side panel you could fit it in. The other option is the driver side corner has a great big empty location and lots of people make bracket for that location. Here’s a photo of my battery cut off switch to my second battery mounted there using an American adventure lab bracket

I might try to mount it where you have your battery disconnect but the fuse box is kind of big. It might have to go sodeways. I don't really want to mount on top of the factory fuse box. The included brackets are not really for the Bronco.

Another option is on the passenger side. JCR sells a bracket for mounting an air compressor. I used it for mounting the solenoid of my winch there, lots of vertical room. You could also look at winch solenoid relocation brackets and just modify them to fit this. I know someone makes one that mounts forward of the battery

I mounted the cheap eBay fuse/relay box for my homemade aux light switchs on the pass side behind the fuse box
