This discoloration issue on my B-Pillars started a few months after purchase and a few car washes. It's clear to me now that the dealership used some sort of application to hide it when I picked it up. Its excessive and I hate it. I haven't seen this on other Bronco's on the road.

I am aware of workarounds and other threads regarding wrapping, overlays & stickers, etc. Not really a fan of the topographical designs, dozens of holes, black mirror stickers or the fake carbon fiber look.

Has anyone come up with a solution doesn't include churching it up with overlays and stickers? Can these things be removed, sanded and treated at a body shop or something?

I swear by this product. I used it on my Explorer with incredible results that lasted over several months. It’s potent enuff to specify using gloves when applying. It’s gives the high gloss luster like brand new black plastic. The gloss/shine lasts longer than the aftermarket vinyl stickers which surprised the hell out of me as well.

I ordered these b-pillar covers. They're tinted and blend well if your windows are tinted.

OEM replacements are not too expensive. You will chase re-applying coatings for how bad that is.

Yeah, good advice. looks like I might have to purchase OEM replacements. I tried Cerakote wipes, the end result doesn't look good. Not sure if it was me or if it was the wrong type of application for the issue.

Good to know. I've had great luck with the Cerakote myself, so long as you don't get water on it while it's drying.

That said, replacement doesn't look too bad either. I'm tempted to just spraypaint my plastic fender flares to cover the scratches (Rustoleum Black Bedliner spray almost exactly matches the original plastic texture)
