I want to pass this on to the local fellow Bronco owners with soft tops.
The great people at Ziebart (Mike sr. owner, and Mike jr.) in Triadelphia, adjacent to the Highlands, can thoroughly clean and protect your Bronco’s soft top. Nobody else around this area does that. I hadn’t had anything done to my top other than the stuff brushless car washes spray on, which isn’t made for these tops. (I live in an apartment with no access to water, etc)
Now my soft top repels water instead of soaking it up like a sponge. I certainly don’t want to end up replacing the top at some point because of neglect.
I paid $200 for the service and am completely satisfied with the results.
Once I set this up, I took it over early one morning and picked it up the following morning. After they clean it with a special detergent made for the soft top, it has to be completely dry before the protective coating is applied, that’s why I was required to leave it overnight.
This also applies to Jeeps or any vehicles with soft tops.
