Hello, everyone. Greetings from northern Virginia.
Pictured is Al the white Ford Bronco, which my wife and I purchased back during the Presidents' Day sales earlier this year. He just took us and the dog on a road trip, the first leg of which was wheeling up Union Springs Road to Flagpole Knob. The picture was taken on a scenic overlook from Union Springs Road.
Since the sixth-generation design has allusions to the first generation, I did my own heritage-esque appearance mods: body-color matching grille with red letters, rocker stripe with body-color counter pinstriping, and, of course, the "Bronco" script fender badges. I also didn't like how they discontinued Black Diamond as a trim, so I took off the Big Bend badges and replaced them with Black Diamond ones. (I was going to remove the trim badges, anyway, to make room for the script fender badge.) Also pictured is the first-generation Bronco that inspired the look.
See you on the trail!
