SSVPod/Alpine Upgrade Help - Sounds Worse now.

‘25 with B&O. I swapped in SSV pods and some Alpine S2-S65C’s, just plug and play. Not sure I messed up but both speakers sound kinda worse than the B&O, so I must’ve done something wrong. Tried running through the sound adjustments but it’s far from crisp, voices distorted somewhat. Suggestions?

Many of those Metra adapters came wired backwards from the store. You may want to check out the polarity.

These made a pretty good improvement for me even with the base SSV Speakers

I'm curious how this project turns out. I thought the consensus was that pods don't make sense to upgrade on the B&O due to the non-adjustable crossover to the pod speakers. That said, I hope this is polarity and that you get this figured out. Given that the '25's B&O is different than prior revisions (and I'm an owner of a '25), I'm very interested in this topic.
