Can this work with Ford Steel modular bumper? I am assuming I would need an aftermarket winch plate and relocation kits for the camera and ACC.
Due to its low-profile design, the winch fits most aftermarket bumpers, as long as there's a mounting option!

Where is the brake release to pull out the rope? I have a hidden winch installed in the ford steel modular bumper and cAnt get to mine.
The gearbox and clutch handle can be clocked in 22.5-degree increments across 16 positions, so you can orient it wherever it's most accessible in your setup. Also, because the gearbox-mounted brake fully disengages, you can actually spool the line out under power quickly without having to manually free-spool and without damaging the winch or rope!

Some of your pictures show the brake lever on the "front" of the winch, while the pics on the site with the red Jeep show it on "top" (assuming the mounting holes are vertical). Can that endcap be clocked or adjusted to place the level where it best fits?

Also, where are these manufactured and/or assembled (if in a different place)?
As mentioned above, the gearbox and clutch handle can be clocked in 22.5-degree increments or to 16 positions.

For anyone wondering about manufacturing, the winch is designed and tested by Bushranger 4x4 Gear in Australia and manufactured in China. It draws heavily on the Covert line of winches that have been in use for years globally, being included as the OE option for many vehicles.

I have the ARB summit I like this one for line speed and it is 7hp. It is $759. Use my thumb to flip the brake.

XRC Gen 3 12,000lb Comp Winch w/ Synthetic Rope - Smittybilt
How are you liking your ARB Summit Bumper? We'd love to hear any feedback and see some photos of the bumper in action!

The Smittybilt winch is a great option. It's a much different design but still a solid option. If you find yourself ever looking to upgrade, our new winch will fit perfectly with your setup.

Yah but you can get a Taiwan made Come Up winch for a few hundred more. I don't want stupid features, I want a robust and simple tool that lasts.
Well, you've come to the right thread! The ARB Integrated Winch was built to be a robust, simple winch that lasts. Every part of the winch was engineered to ensure that it wouldn't break after the first recovery. It's a clean, simple setup. And we offer a limited lifetime mechanical warranty and a 7-year electrical warranty.

Feel free to let us know if you have any questions.

Pair It With the ARB Summit Winch Bumper
Bronco_winch_4.webp

If you're adding a winch to your Bronco, you'll want a bumper that's built for it. The ARB Summit Winch Bumper is a full front bumper replacement designed specifically for the 6th Gen Bronco, rated for winches up to 10,000 lb, and built to keep your factory adaptive cruise control and parking sensors fully functional.
the arb website seems to allow pairing the 12K version of the winch with the summit bumper.

is that correct?

Hello,
Unfortunately, no, the summit bumper is compatible with winches up to 10,000lb.

did you beef up the mounting for the 12k winch or were most of the mods to meet the body lift?

The mods are for the body lift; the bar was in front of the headlights. I got this winch for the line pull speed, and it is 7hp. When I pull heavy, I inspect the bolts and tighten after. I have had it get loose one time, the turbo spooled up climbing in 4L (almost definitely REV matched as well.) It was a WOT to pop the front up a 4' ledge, unfortunately it is a sharp right turn there or slam into a rock wall.... long story long, the brakes laughed when the 2.7 wound all the way up in 4L 1st gear. and I slammed into the wall.
