I just read all the Forscan posts last week.

It seems you can add all eight modes, but only seven will display properly. Not sure how that works. I'll be adding Sport Mode and when I do I'll delete Eco mode. Eco mode is sort of useless for a manual. All it does is change throtte response. With an automatic it also changes shift points.
it does also put it into 2wheel drive mode…not that you can’t doing that urself. But yeah I never use the eco mode with my manual. I keep it in normal or sport most of the time.

Im interested here. I don’t have mud/ruts or sand on my 25 badlands to start with. I added sport mode successfully, but from day one:

Normal
slippery
Eco
Baja
Rock Crawl

I have a ā€˜25 badlands manual transmission.

On my '25 Badlands I added just Sport mode a couple months ago, and did not disable Eco mode at the time. Then I had all 8 modes showing on the dash display, but when going thru the different modes using the selector switch only Rock Crawl's screen didn't have a "title" on it or any animation to it, just showed a blue Bronco for that one screen. All 8 modes were functioning and switching the setup around for the mode selected.

Yesterday, I was checking to see if the recent OTA recall update had screwed any of my setting (mods) up, everything was the same... checked for any DTC, none... So I went ahead and disabled Eco mode (I hate it, worthless in my book), cleared the DTC's, then went out and tested all modes before coming back home and again checking for any DTC (none)... all was good. I used the spreadsheet from this forum to make all my changes (making my own from it for the setting I was changing).

Now I have 7 GOAT modes, just no ECO mode. When going thru each mode using the selector switch all screens have a mode "title" on it and a brief animation. Rock Crawl's screen is back to showing a reddish orange Bronco too...

I understand the apprehensiveness, but I think IF I was experiencing the unexpected loss of a mode(S), one that I didn't disable. I'd first try to rewrite the module from the back up I made before I changed the settings, to get it back to original... then make the changes I wanted again... in case I had inadvertently changed something the first time I tried.

FWIW, I did all of my mods to the "As Built" modules (the ABS "As Built" module for the GOAT modes), after I had backed up the ABS As Built module before changing anything. The only change I made for GOAT modes that wasn't done in the ABS "As Built" module was disabling Eco mode... and only because I did not know what value and to what place to enter it in order to disable Eco mode, so for that one setting I just changed it to disabled in the non as built version of the module.

I am curious which module you guys that are experiencing issues did your mods to, thru the "as built" one or thru the other one?

I have 2021 OBX SAS and added Baja and Rock Crawl. I will have to double check but I thought I have all the goat modes available last I looked. If I am missing any it would be slippery mode.
I checked and I have all 8 GOAT modes showing on my screen.

I've downloaded my AB file from the Ford motorcraft site and used a tool to diff it finding any modifications that perhaps even the previous owner did, unfortunately nothing stands out. I may have to take this to the dealer and ask what's going on.
